Federal Reserve Leaves Interest Rates Unchanged in July 2025

The Federal Reserve has again left interest rates unchanged after the latest Fed meeting, leaving rates at 4.25% to 4.50%. It marks the fifth straight month that there has not been an interest rate cut or hike. President Donald Trump has been pressing hard for the Fed to cut rates, arguing that his tariff policy will not push up inflation. However, Fed Chair Jerome Powell and the central bank still see inflation as threatening enough to hold off any further cuts. Subsequently, the Fed has opted to remain committed to a wait-and-see approach to handling the war on inflation and future interest rate cuts. According to Treasury data, the annual inflation rate in the US accelerated for the second consecutive month ...

Adoption of This Crypto Asset Class Will Increase Demand for Bitcoin and Ethereum: deVere Group CEO Nigel Green

Image
The chief executive of financial advisory giant deVere Group says that the adoption of one particular asset class will increase demand for both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). In a new video update, deVere Group CEO Nigel Green tells his 115,000 YouTube subscribers that stablecoins, or fiat-pegged digital assets, could save the US economy and reinvigorate demand for the top two crypto assets by market cap. According to Green, stablecoins can help keep US interest rates lower, boosting money circulation in the economy. “Stablecoins are virtually instant – in other words, it means you can transfer inexpensively and very quickly. It’s good for banks, it’s good for individuals. Really, it’s a revolution.” The executive goes on to say that if the US can successfully create policies that boost dollar-pegged stablecoins, it would increase the rate at which people are buying US Treasury bills with fixed rates, which would drive down intere...

Is Bitcoin price set to plunge below $90k?

Image
Since reaching an all-time high (ATH) price of $108,130 on December 17, Bitcoin (BTC) has been subject to intense selling pressure. By December 20, prices had receded to as low as $92,810 — and although the recovery was quick, the leading cryptocurrency has struggled to reclaim the $100,000 mark. BTC did shoot up to $102,250 on January 7 — but it was not to last, as a quick correction followed. From then on, Bitcoin steadily traded at prices close to $95,000. Now, on January 13, the premier digital asset experienced significant downward momentum — prices have dropped from a high of $95,900 to just $90,820 at press time.  Picks for you Crypto expert says XRP could hit $4 in the ‘next couple of days’ 16 mins ago Laurel Lee net worth reve...

Crypto Analyst Reviews Crypto All-Stars Presale As It Breaks $1.5 Million – Best Crypto to Buy Now?

Image
Crypto analysts predict renewed interest in meme coins around Q4, sparking excitement as Crypto All-Stars raises over $1.5 million in its presale. The recent surge in the crypto market can be attributed to the Federal Reserve’s significant decision to cut interest rates by 0.5% for the first time since March 2020. Additionally, BlackRock, the largest asset manager globally, has expressed increased support for Bitcoin by releasing a whitepaper that highlights it as a ‘unique diversifier’ against monetary and geopolitical risks. These interest rate cuts and BlackRock’s endorsement have positively influenced market sentiment, evident in the crypto Fear & Greed Index as it shifts away from extreme fear. As a result, investors are turning their focus to new crypto projects during this rally, including the Crypto All-Stars presale, which has gained traction in the crypto community with its upcoming unified meme coin staking protocol. President Biden Says Inflation Data May Delay Interest Rate Cuts

Image
Speaking to the nation today, US President Joe Biden said that March’s inflation report may delay interest rate cuts. Indeed, Biden noted that the inflation data reporting an increase to 3.5%, higher than expectations, will likely have an impact on the Federal Reserve’s decision-making process for the year. Biden noted that he is currently unaware of the Central Bank’s plans regarding interest rate cuts. However, he did assure the public that there would be cuts taking place before the end of the year. Alternatively, Fed Chair Jerome Powell previously said that the country could expect three interest rate cuts before the conclusion of 2024. Bitcoin price continues to fall, but derivatives data hints at a short-term rally to $25K

Image
This week regulators joined hands to highlight the crypto sector’s inherent risk, but pro traders fought back by adding leverage to their long positions. It’s possible that many people have already forgotten that Bitcoin’s (BTC) price closed 2022 at $16,529 and the recent rebound and rejection at the $25,000 level could raise concern among certain investors. Bears are pushing back at the $25,000 level and there has been multiple failed attempts at the level between Feb. 16 and Feb. 21. Currently, it looks like the $23,500 resistance is continuing to gain strength with every retest.  Pinpointing the rationale behind Bitcoin’s 45.5% year-to-date gain is not apparent, but part of it comes from the United States Federal Reserve’s inability to curb inflation while raising interest rates to its highest level in 15 years. The unintended consequence is higher government debt repayments and this adds further pressure to the budget deficit. It’s virtually impossible to predict when the Fed wil...

Here’s why Bitcoin price could correct after the US government resolves the debt limit impasse

Image
Bitcoin price has been on a tear, but analysts warn that resolving the U.S debt limit issue could trigger sharp downside for risk assets like BTC. For much of 2022, the crypto market focused on the U.S. Federal Reserve's actions. The central bank created a bearish environment for risk-on assets like Stocks and Cryptocurrencies by increasing the Interest Rates on borrowing.  Toward the end of 2022, positive economic data, healthy employment numbers and a decreasing inflation rate provided hope that a much-awaited slowdown in the rate of interest rate hikes would occur. Currently, the market expects the rate hikes to reduce from 50 basis points (bps) to 25 bps before the complete end of the hike regime by mid-2023. From the perspective of the Fed's goal of constraining liquidity and providing headwinds to an overheated economy and stock market, things are starting to improve. It appears that the Fed's plan of a soft-landing by quantitative tightening to curb inflation witho...
