Here are Dogecoin’s key price levels to watch as DOGE set to rebound

Image
Dogecoin (DOGE) may be preparing for a major rebound after weeks of sideways movement, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez. This outlook comes as the meme cryptocurrency shows signs of short-term strength. As of press time, DOGE was valued at $0.19, gaining over 5% in the past 24 hours, while on the weekly time frame, it is up 4%. DOGE seven-day price chart. Source: Finbold In an X post on October 18, Martinez noted that DOGE is trading within an ascending parallel channel that stretches back to early 2023. Dogecoin is currently hovering near the lower boundary of this channel, a region that has historically acted as a reliable launch pad for rallies. DOGE price analysis chart. As long as this zone holds, bullish momentum could begin to build. The next immediate price barrier is $0.21, which must be breached for DOGE to ...

Coinbase restrictions almost ruined crypto trader's wedding

A Coinbase user says that the crypto exchange nearly scuppered his dream wedding after it placed restrictions on his account that would have prevented him from paying for his first-choice venue. CoinDesk writer Griffin McShane claimed yesterday on X that his wedding was placed in jeopardy after Coinbase froze his deposit withdrawals and placed restrictions on his account for two months.  McShane tagged Coinbase and said, “Please explain to me how blocking access to my account for two months is protecting me because I can’t get any support information or support from your support team.” Hey @brian_armstrong, Can you tell my fiance that we can't get married at the venue we picked because @coinbase: – refused to let me withdraw my deposit – won't let me access my funds for another 2 months I've had the same bank account since I first got into crypto with… pic.twitter.com/bYfqSZNpuG — Griffin McShane (@US_SupremeShort) January 16, 2025 Coi...

Analysts warn Bitcoin will crash to $60,000

Image
As it turned out by December 27, the trade-off for Bitcoin’s (BTC) 61% climb in November from about $67,000 to above $108,000 was an almost complete lack of a ‘Santa Claus’ rally ahead and during Christmas, which resulted in the coin changing hands at $96,273 at press time. BTC 6-month price chart. Source: FInbold Indeed, BTC performance in the last 7 to 10 days has been so lackluster that numerous cryptocurrency and on-chain analysts have started forecasting a significant plunge for the digital asset, even if many of them still see a longer-term rally. Analysts forecast Bitcoin flash crash as BTC rejects breakout above $100,000 A major trigger for the bearish prediction has been Bitcoin’s recent inability to find a stable footing above $95,000. The world’s premier cryptocurrency has spent much of the last week trading roughly in the range between $92,000 and $99,000 though most of the trading has been closer to the lower bound. ...

Ethereum derivatives flirting with bearishness: Mind the $1,820 support

Image
The failed rally above $2,000 on May 6 has proven that ETH bulls are nowhere near comfortable adding leveraged longs. After a brief overshoot above $2,000 on May 6, the Ether (ETH) price has returned to the tight range between $1,820 and $1,950, which has been the norm for the past three weeks. According to the latest Ether futures and options data, odds favor the Ether price breaking below the $1,820 support as professional traders have been unwilling to add neutral-to-bullish positions using derivatives contracts. The average Ethereum transaction fee skyrocketed to $27.70 on May 6, the highest in 12 months, according to BitInfoCharts data. As reported by Cointelegraph, one of the main drivers behind the increase was the insatiable demand for Pepe (PEPE), among other memecoins. Moreover, the increased gas fees have...
