Expect a Strong Move Up for One BNB Chain Ecosystem Altcoin, According to Economist Alex Krüger

Image
A popular economist believes that one altcoin project supported by the BNB Chain ecosystem is setting the stage for a massive breakout. In a new X post to his 215,200 followers, Alex Krüger says that Plasma (XPL) is likely to have an explosive move to the upside once the token forms a local bottom. Plasma is a proof-of-stake (PoS) layer-1 project optimized for large-scale stablecoin payments and compatible with Ethereum (ETH). “Seeing widespread FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) around Plasma following its two-day ~40% price correction. Dump is driven by profit taking from unlocked ICO (initial coin offering) participants (non-US participants were unlocked) who are/were up about 20x-30x in under four months, in size. Abnormally high funding can be indicative of spot selling. Expect a strong move up as soon as indiscriminate spot selling subsides, whenever that may be.” Source: Alex Krüger/X Popular analyst Altcoin Sherpa is also predicting an XPL bo...

Image
A widely followed crypto strategist thinks that one layer-1 platform is closely following in the footsteps of Solana’s (SOL) 2021 bull market rampage. Pseudonymous analyst Kaleo tells his 698,600 followers on the social media platform X Sui’s (SUI) price action over the last two years looks very similar to SOL’s 2020-2021 market structure. In 2021, Solana exploded and rallied by about 300% in just three months after shattering its resistance at $55. Says Kaleo, “SUI looks primed for a move similar to the one SOL made in the Fall of 2021. SUI has been the emerging layer-1 market leader this cycle, similar to what SOL was then. If current structural similarities continue to play out, things are about to get fun.” Source: Kaleo/X Looking at the trader’s chart, he seems to suggest that SUI is close to skyrocketing and printing new all-time highs. At time of writing, SUI is trading for $4.04. Kaleo is also bullish on the lead...

Ripple: How Many Years Will XRP Take To Reach $1?

Image
Ripple’s XRP had a tough couple of years with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States targeting the firm. The SEC’s last-minute appeal earlier today infuriated the XRP Army. In doing so, the government hopes to overturn portions of a summary decision that U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres handed down over a year ago. By finding that Ripple’s sales of XRP to individual investors on digital asset platforms did not contravene U.S. securities laws, Torres’ July 2023 opinion largely rewarded the business. For example, just last week, we argued that one of the most significant implications of the Fed decision to cut 50bps (basis points) is that this provides cover for other monetary authorities to take more stimulative measures. This has been followed by China revealing a massive double fiscal and monetary stimulus p...

Unfortunately for Kralow, he never made it to his final destination — with his cheap vehicle grinding to a permanent halt in Seattle, just 12 days after starting the j...

The S&P 500 is attempting a recovery, but Bitcoin and select altcoins are struggling to break above their respective resistance levels. Bitcoin (BTC) is down about 11% in August, just shy of the 13.88% fall seen in the corresponding month in 2022, according to CoinGlass data. The picture does not look very bright for September either. History shows that every year since 2017, Bitcoin has declined in September.  Bloomberg Intelligence senior macro strategist Mike McGlone is even more bearish on Bitcoin. While speaking to Kitco News, McGlone warned that in case of a “global economic reset,” Bitcoin could nosedive to as low as $10,000. Daily cryptocurrency market performance. Crypto mass adoption is coming, but how fast?

Image
The latest Cointelegraph Report assesses the current growth rate of global cryptocurrency usage and tries to predict when crypto will reach mass adoption. Cryptocurrencies must reach mass adoption to unlock their maximum potential as a network technology and their value as financial assets.  As with other technologies, the adoption of crypto follows a classic bell curve: Starting from a small number of innovators, it grows as early adopters embrace it, moving into mass adoption as it expands to the early and late majority. Finally, it reaches those lagging behind in its final phase. Since its launch 14 years ago, Bitcoin’s (BTC) adoption has dramatically increased. The cryptocurrency has gone from being a fringe technology discussed by a small group of cypherpunks and nerds to being known worldwide, with some nation-states even adopting it as legal tender. According to most estimates, though, crypto’s global adoption rate is still in the single digits, which means it still remains...

Circle CEO warns of active and accelerating de-dollarization

The U.S. must capitalize on the “high demand” for digitally native U.S. dollars, particularly from those in emerging economies with weak local banking systems, the Circle CEO said.
